Quantity Surveyor – Cladding Remediation - Tier 1 Social Housing Contractor
- Salary: £50,000–£70,000 (DOE) Locations: City of London (Liverpool Street Area) or Hertfordshire
- Projects: HA cladding remediation (primarily South London)
- Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days WFH
We are partnering with a respected UK main contractor with a £700m+ turnover and a strong national presence. With over 25 years of sustained success, they have built long-term client relationships and secured a robust pipeline of work across the country.
This role sits within a specialist business unit delivering cladding remediation, refurbishment, retrofit, and building safety projects for major housing associations and local authorities. You’ll join a collaborative team supported by an experienced senior leadership group known for delivering high‑quality, technically complex schemes.
The Opportunity
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial delivery of multiple Housing Assocation cladding remediation schemes across South London. You’ll work closely with operational teams to ensure accurate cost control, strong client engagement, and successful project outcomes. A background in cladding remediation is ideal, but a strong planned works or façade‑related background is essential.
Key Responsibilities

Support commercial management from procurement to final account

Manage subcontractor procurement, valuations, variations, and payments

Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and commercial documentation

Work closely with Senior QS and commercial managers

Build strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners

Ensure compliance with building safety and remediation standards

Experience as a QS within cladding remediation, façades, planned works, or similar sectors
