Our client is a leading organisation within the scientific and manufacturing sector, providing innovative products and solutions to a global customer base. They are currently looking for a Receptionist to join their team, acting as the first point of contact for visitors and callers while providing administrative support to the wider business.
Receptionist - Requirements
- Ideally have DBS or EBDS already in place
- Previous experience working as a Receptionist, Front of House, or in a customer‑facing administrative role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Teams
- Well‑presented, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Receptionist - Responsibilities
As a Receptionist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day running of the office. Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the first point of contact, greeting visitors and managing incoming calls
- Managing meeting room bookings and coordinating visitor access
- Handling incoming and outgoing post and deliveries
- Providing general administrative support to various departments
- Maintaining a tidy and professional reception
- Supporting internal teams with ad‑hoc admin tasks as required
