Location: Hemel Hempstead
Hourly Charge Rate: £12.75 - £13.00

Duration: 1 to 3 months with opportunity to get extended

Our client is a leading organisation within the scientific and manufacturing sector, providing innovative products and solutions to a global customer base. They are currently looking for a Receptionist to join their team, acting as the first point of contact for visitors and callers while providing administrative support to the wider business.



Receptionist - Requirements

  • Ideally have DBS or EBDS already in place
  • Previous experience working as a Receptionist, Front of House, or in a customer‑facing administrative role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Teams
  • Well‑presented, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team


Receptionist - Responsibilities

As a Receptionist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day running of the office. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact, greeting visitors and managing incoming calls
  • Managing meeting room bookings and coordinating visitor access
  • Handling incoming and outgoing post and deliveries
  • Providing general administrative support to various departments
  • Maintaining a tidy and professional reception
  • Supporting internal teams with ad‑hoc admin tasks as required
