Recruitment Administrator

The role will act as a key point of contact for candidates and managers, ensuring recruitment activities are delivered efficiently, in line with policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
THE ROLE:
Provide administrative support across the full recruitment lifecycle, including advertising vacancies, facilitating shortlisting, arranging interviews, completing pre-employment checks, and issuing offers/contracts/agreements for new starters.
Act as a first point of contact for candidates and hiring managers, responding to queries and providing guidance on recruitment policies and processes, escalating to a senior member of the team if needed.
Support the coordination of recruitment campaigns, working with hiring managers to identify options for advertising vacancies, including external sites and job boards, and within agreed timescales.
Prepare and manage recruitment documentation, including job adverts, offer letters and contracts of employment. Conduct auditing of posts, ensuring all required documentation is present and maintained for compliance with legislation.
Maintain accurate records on current ERP system, ensuring data integrity and compliance with GDPR and organisational standards.
Coordinate interview scheduling, panel arrangements and candidate communications to help provide a positive interviewing experience.
Support pre-employment checks, including right to work, references, occupational health clearances, also DBS and visa sponsorship where required.
Monitor recruitment progress and provide updates to hiring managers and candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience. Assist with compiling reports of active recruitment to provide updates to management to be used to inform on workforce planning discussions.
Undertake onboarding processes for assigned posts, completing pre-employment checks for new starters and ensuring they are set up on systems with all relevant accesses needed for their first day.
Ensure all recruitment activity complies with relevant legislation, policies and procedures, including equality and diversity principles. Work to resolve standard issues as they arise, escalating as required if there are legal implications identified.
Support continuous improvement of recruitment processes by identifying efficiencies and opportunities for enhancing candidate and hiring manager, sharing feedback with the team.
THE CANDIDATE:
Immediately available to start a new role and able to commit to a 6 month contract.
