Refuse Loader

Location: Malvern
Hours: 06:00 – 14:00 (Overtime available)
Pay: £12.71 (£13.29 after 12 weeks)
A local authority is looking for a Refuse Loader to join their team. There is full-time work available, as well as temporary cover for holidays and sickness, with additional work during busy periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting commercial and domestic waste and loading it onto refuse wagons
- Working in all weather conditions
- Carrying out physically demanding duties, including lifting heavy bags
- Being flexible and willing to work regular overtime when required
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Refuse Loader is beneficial but not essential
- Must be physically fit and capable of manual handling
- A valid Category B manual driving licence is preferred (van driving experience would be an advantage)
- This assignment is subject to a DBS check
