Location: Bolton - covering key sites across Manchester, Liverpool, Hull, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week

Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking a Regional Cleaning Support Manager to support the Key Account Network (KAN).

Job Overview

This role is responsible for leading, motivating and embedding a sustainable culture of service excellence across a defined UK region within the Key Account Network. The Regional Cleaning Support Manager will set clear performance standards and ensure operational, safety and financial compliance across all aligned accounts.

Working closely with account teams and local operational management, the role supports both self-delivered activities and on-site teams to ensure consistently high-quality service delivery. Acting as a key regional leader, the postholder will provide escalation support, drive performance improvement and maintain alignment with contractual and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide full leadership across all regional accountabilities, ensuring customer satisfaction, safe systems of work and effective team management.
  • Support Key Account Network account management teams to achieve best-in-class service delivery and performance outcomes.
  • Collaborate with operational and service delivery management teams to ensure compliance with SLA and KPI requirements, including missed cleans, PPM delivery and recruitment targets.
  • Act as a regional escalation point, offering operational guidance and resolving general service queries.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of contractual service specifications and ensure standardised, high-quality delivery across all sites.
  • Oversee regional budgets, monitor financial performance and deliver efficiencies and savings through effective service operations.
  • Produce periodic performance and budget reports for the aligned portfolio director.
  • Build strong internal relationships and promote a customer-focused culture within the regional management team.

Person Specification

  • Strong experience in a comparable regional or multi-site management role.
  • In-depth understanding of cleaning operations and associated service activities.
  • Proven commercial, financial and budget management experience.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to support and influence colleagues without a cleaning background.
  • Ability to manage client expectations and deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and adaptable approach.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Full UK driving licence required (car or car allowance).
