Overview

We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a new therapeutic 3-bed children’s home supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

This is an excellent opportunity to open and develop a service from the ground up, supported by an established and forward-thinking care provider.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the home
• Lead recruitment, supervision and development of staff
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted and safeguarding standards
• Deliver high-quality, trauma-informed care
• Build a positive, structured and therapeutic environment
• Drive continuous improvement and outcomes

Essential Criteria

• NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People
• Minimum 3 years in residential childcare
• At least 2 years in a senior/leadership role
• Experience supporting young people with EBD
• Strong safeguarding knowledge
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management
• Experience with Ofsted inspections
• Track record of developing teams or improving services
