DUAL REGISTERED MANAGER – CHILDREN’S HOME

Diamond Search Recruitment is working in partnership with a reputable children’s services provider to recruit an experienced and passionate Dual Registered Manager for children’s residential settings in Cannock, Staffordshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven leader to make a real difference while managing a service committed to positive outcomes for children and young people.

🔑 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the day‑to‑day operation of the children’s home
• Ofsted registration of the second home
• Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards
• Lead, develop, and motivate a skilled staff team
• Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for children
• Maintain effective relationships with Ofsted, local authorities, and professionals
• Drive continuous improvement and inspection readiness

✅ ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Already registered with Ofsted as a Registered Manager
• Clean and satisfactory Ofsted inspection record
• Minimum 3–4 years’ experience as a Registered Manager
• Proven experience managing services rated Good or Outstanding
• Strong knowledge of legislation, safeguarding, and compliance
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Enhanced DBS (clear) and strong references

⭐ DESIRABLE

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or equivalent)
• Experience working within EBD or complex needs settings
