🔥 The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a children’s residential home supporting young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs.

This is a key leadership role, offering full operational responsibility for the home, with the opportunity to drive standards, build a strong team, and deliver positive, long-term outcomes for young people.

🧠 The Role

As Registered Manager, you will:

• Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home
• Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing staff team
• Create a safe, structured and nurturing environment for young people
• Drive a culture of accountability, consistency and positive outcomes

🛡 Compliance & Quality

• Ensure the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations and standards
• Oversee safeguarding, risk management and incident processes
• Maintain high-quality care plans, assessments and documentation
• Lead on inspections and continuously improve service performance

👥 Leadership & Operations

• Manage recruitment, staffing levels and workforce planning
• Deliver regular supervisions, appraisals and development plans
• Manage budgets, occupancy and overall service performance
• Work closely with senior leadership on service development and strategy

🤝 Stakeholder Engagement

• Build strong relationships with Local Authorities, Ofsted and external professionals
• Represent the home professionally and maintain a positive reputation
• Ensure effective communication with families and key stakeholders

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a children’s home
• Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and inspection frameworks
• Experience supporting young people with SEMH / complex needs
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
• Confident leader with a track record of improving services and outcomes
