About the Client
- Our Client is a well-established construction and property maintenance organisation delivering high-quality refurbishment and planned maintenance services across residential housing projects.
- They are seeking a proactive and organised supervisor with strong site coordination and leadership skills to support ongoing kitchen and bathroom replacement programmes.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Supervise kitchen and bathroom replacement works across multiple occupied residential properties.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors including carpenters, plumbers, electricians, plasterers, flooring installers, and decorators.
- Monitor project progress to ensure works are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
- Carry out regular site inspections and quality checks throughout all stages of the project.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, RAMS, and safe working practices on site.
- Manage defects, snagging items, and remedial works to successful completion.
- Act as the main point of contact for residents and clients, handling queries and resolving issues professionally.
- Maintain accurate site records, inspection reports, photographs, and progress updates.
- Support planning, scheduling, and coordination of labour and materials.
- Ensure excellent customer service and resident satisfaction throughout project delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience supervising kitchen and bathroom replacement or planned maintenance projects.
- Strong background managing multiple subcontractors and trades on residential refurbishment works.
- Good understanding of domestic refurbishment and social housing environments.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and construction site compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver projects efficiently.
- Competent using tablets and basic IT systems for reporting and communication.
- Full UK driving licence required.
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification preferred.
- CSCS Card required/preferred.
- First Aid and Asbestos Awareness certifications advantageous.
- Trade background or construction-related experience beneficial.
