Technical Sales Engineer | UK Remote with Travel | £55,000–£60,000 + Bonus + Benefits

This is a senior technical sales role for an engineer who wants to stay close to the product and the customer — providing specialist knowledge, supporting design-in activity, and building long-term relationships across the UK.

The Role

You will act as the primary technical resource across the UK sales team and customer base, supporting design-in opportunities, qualification discussions, and technically demanding projects from initial enquiry through to conversion.

What You Will Be Doing

• Providing technical and commercial support to customers across the UK
• Supporting design-in activity, qualification projects, and component selection
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities across existing and new accounts
• Attending customer sites, exhibitions, and supplier meetings
• Feeding back market intelligence on trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience in a technical sales, applications, or field sales engineering role within the electronic components industry
• Strong technical knowledge of electronic and/or electromechanical components and applications
• Experience supporting customers in aerospace, defence, space, rail, or high-reliability sectors
• Demonstrated experience with passive components, magnetics, power, EMC, RF, sensors, or high-reliability semiconductors
• Full clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly

Desirable

• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related subject
• Familiarity with Aero-Defence-Space qualification standards
• Established relationships with Aero-Defence-Space customers in the UK
