Sales Executive – IT, Salary: c£30k + uncapped commission+ Excellent benefits and career development opportunities, Hybrid working / Basingstoke office.

Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive / Account Manager to join a Leading national IT distributor. This role will be tasked with generating and developing new business opportunities and growth of existing accounts, primarily selling IT hardware to resellers (B2B). You’ll be given a level of autonomy and freedom in terms of how you approach the role, with the full support of the team.

We are keen to hear from motivated Sales Executives / Business Development Managers / Account Managers who can demonstrate success in a sales role. Experience of selling or an interest in IT or technology solutions would be highly advantageous. A good general understanding of or an interest in IT and technology is essential, as is the experience of using tools such as CRM’s, LinkedIn, Office365 etc.

Sales Executive role responsibilities:

  • Lead generation opportunity identification through proactive sales, including calls, LinkedIn, networking, email marketing, trade shows / events.
  • Account Management: build long term relationships with customers with a focus on increasing revenues within the account.
  • Handle and convert inbound enquiries.
  • Quotation / proposal creation.
  • Sales negotiation and closing.
