School Administrator �� Secondary School – Greenwich

⏰ Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
�� 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Term Time)
�� Pay: £136 per day PAYE
�� Start: ASAP

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and organised School Administrator to join a busy secondary school in Greenwich.
This is an excellent opportunity for an administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced educational environment and is passionate about supporting students, staff, parents, and external partners.
Key ResponsibilitiesWork Experience Administration
  • Coordinate all administrative processes relating to student work experience placements.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
  • Support employer engagement and maintain relationships with local businesses and organisations.
  • Monitor attendance and placement information through relevant systems.
  • Liaise with staff, students, parents, and external partners regarding placements.
Careers and Enrichment Support
  • Assist with careers events, mock interviews, networking opportunities, and educational visits.
  • Support the administration of music tuition, clubs, trips, and enrichment activities.
  • Maintain data and produce reports relating to student engagement.
  • Assist with parental communications and payments.
  • Support various school programmes and community partnership initiatives.
General Administration
  • Provide administrative support across the school as required.
  • Produce correspondence, reports, and communications.
  • Update student records and maintain accurate databases.
  • Assist with reception duties during busy periods.
  • Respond professionally to enquiries from students, parents, staff, and external agencies.
  • Support school events throughout the academic year.
Essential Requirements
  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above).
  • Previous administrative experience within an office environment.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise a varied workload and work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
Desirable
  • Previous experience working within a school environment.
  • Knowledge of Bromcom and/or Unifrog systems.
  • First Aid qualification or willingness to undertake training.
