School Cleaner

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hard-working school cleaner to join a friendly school environment on a part-time basis.

This role involves working split shifts, Monday to Friday, helping to keep the school clean, safe, and tidy for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Main Duties:

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and emptying bins.
• Ensuring all areas are cleaned to a high standard.
• Replenishing supplies such as toilet roll, soap, and hand towels.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Reporting any maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate person.
• Working safely around children and school staff.

Working Hours: 6:00am – 9:00am and 3:00pm – 6:00pm

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Good attention to detail.
• Able to follow instructions and cleaning schedules.
• Must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
• A children's barred list check is essential due to working in a school environment around children.
