About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a motivated and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Leicester. This full-time role has an end date to be confirmed and is suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs. The successful candidate will teach general Science, with a specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics welcomed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Adapt teaching to suit a range of abilities and learning styles
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
  • Encourage curiosity and a passion for scientific learning
  • Contribute to the wider Science department and school community

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics (desirable)
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
