Empowering Learning is recruiting Teaching Assistants to support a number of specialist schools around Hillingdon / Uxbridge.

These highly regarded specialist schools support children and young people aged 4-19 with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), physical disabilities, sensory needs and complex learning needs. Therapy and education work closely together to help every pupil achieve their full potential.

The Role
* Supporting pupils in the classroom and around the school (including personal care)
* Working 1:1 and in small groups
* Assisting with communication, social and independence skills
* Supporting pupils with autism and complex learning needs
* Working alongside teachers, therapists and multidisciplinary teams

* SEND Teaching Assistants
* Care and support workers
* Psychology, Education and Health & Social Care graduates
* Nursery practitioners and childcare professionals
* Anyone with experience supporting children or vulnerable adults
