Quantum Scholars
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available for these opportunities.
Quantum Scholars are looking to engage caring and adaptable individuals to provide 1:1 SEND tuition and mentoring support to pupils across Wokingham and surrounding areas.
Many of the young people we support are currently outside of mainstream education and may experience challenges linked to SEND, SEMH, autism, anxiety, trauma, behavioural needs, medical conditions, or school avoidance. This work is about helping young people re-engage with learning, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes.
We welcome applications from individuals with experience in teaching, teaching assistance, SEND support, youth work, behaviour mentoring, alternative provision, coaching, pastoral care, or similar roles. Above all, we are looking for people who can build positive relationships and provide consistent support.
The role involves delivering 1:1 tuition and mentoring to primary and secondary-aged pupils. Sessions may take place in homes, schools, community settings, or online, depending on the needs of each student. There is immediate and ongoing demand for tutors, with regular referrals available throughout the academic year.
