Senior Care Worker

KRSL are looking for people who are ready to make a positive impact by enabling people with health conditions or impairments to remain in dependent in their own homes. We are recruiting a Senior Care worker to cover the Torbay area. This will be a remote role offering care services in the local community, therefore your own transport is essential. This will be 35 hours per week Monday-Friday, with a requirement to work every other weekend. You will ideally be NVQ Level 3 qualified and have previous experience in a similar environment. Responsibilities:

• To deliver high quality care to people and their families
• To provide the highest quality care to service users in their own homes in accordance with their Care plan, in person-centred approach.
• Personal care includes washing, dressing, bathing, toileting.
• Administering medication - monitoring and/or assistance.
• Recording Medication administration
• Engage and work closely with unpaid carers, such as family or friends.
• Promote dignity and privacy.
• Act as a role model to all Care Workers
• Be aware of CQC fundamental standards
• Complete – medication audits and conduct supervisions.
