Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time, 35 hours

Salary: Starting from £57,904 per annum (London weighted salary) or £49,502 per annum (Regional salary), dependant on experience

Grade: 10

Reporting Office: London, Stratford or Manchester, Trafford 

Persona: Agile Worker: 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office/working location (hybrid working)

We’re looking for a Senior Information Analyst who combines technical expertise with strong business understanding — someone who can not only analyse data but help define what success looks like. 

In this role, you’ll be building Power BI dashboards and reports that drive decision-making and establish a single version of the truth across the business. You’ll also lead the development of meaningful KPIs and performance frameworks, ensuring teams have the insight they need to measure outcomes and continuously improve. 

Working collaboratively across the organisation, you’ll transform complex data into clear, actionable insight that supports strategic goals and enhances services for our customers.

Your impact in the role:

 

  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to report on performance and deliver insight on Strategic Performance Indicators, driving informed decision-making  
  • Build and deliver high-impact Power BI dashboards and reports, establishing a single version of the truth and ensuring consistency across the organisation  
  • Proactively deliver actionable insight, balancing business needs with strong adherence to data governance and reporting standards  
  • Design and develop standardised, visually compelling dashboards, combining clear storytelling with best practice and Power BI governance procedures  
  • Collaborate in the development of KPIs and performance frameworks, helping teams define success, measure progress, and identify opportunities for improvement  
  • Strengthen data governance and data quality, working closely with data modellers, data quality analysts, and technical teams to ensure accuracy and reliability  
  • Empower business users to self-serve, lead their own information huddles, and confidently use data in everyday decision-making  
  • Champion a data-driven and well-governed culture, where insight is trusted, accessible, and central to how the organisation operates  

What you'll bring:

 

  • Proven experience in advanced business analysis and data storytelling, with strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, and data modelling, ideally within a complex or housing-related environment  
  • Demonstrated ability to lead on the definition and implementation of KPIs and SLAs, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and driving measurable performance improvement  
  • A strong commitment to customer-focused outcomes, embedding best practice in data and analytics to enhance service delivery and user experience  
  • Experience in leading and supporting organisational change, embedding a culture of data-driven decision-making across business functions  
  • Highly developed analytical capability, with the ability to apply statistical and quantitative techniques to generate actionable insights  
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and engage senior leaders  
  • A proactive leadership approach to data governance and data quality, ensuring information is trusted, consistent, and supports a single version of the truth
