Senior Engineering Manager – Healthcare

£40 per hour (PAYE) | Temp-to-Perm (up to £85k)
40 hours per week | Min 6-month contract | 

We’re recruiting for a Senior Engineering Manager to join a high-profile healthcare facilities management contract at PRUH. This is a key leadership role where you’ll act as the technical authority across all engineering activities within a live hospital environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading M&E engineering delivery across a complex healthcare site
• Acting as the go-to expert on HTM compliance and safety-critical systems
• Supporting and mentoring engineers and technical teams on-site
• Working closely with clinical staff and stakeholders to ensure systems meet operational demands
• Overseeing design changes, lifecycle planning, and maintenance strategies
• Managing risk, driving improvements, and promoting innovative solutions
• Supporting emergency response planning (power, fire, critical systems)

What we’re looking for:

• HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Building Services or Engineering (Degree preferred)
• Professional membership (CIBSE, IET, IHEEM or similar)
• Strong healthcare experience with solid knowledge of HTM / HBN standards
• Background in facilities management / technical services
• Good understanding of compliance, health & safety, and project delivery
• Confident communicator with strong leadership skills
