We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Planner to join a growing team based in Castleford.

This role is ideally suited to someone with a strong background in groundworks and civil engineering who specialises in the preconstruction phase of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Producing and managing preconstruction programmes
• Developing tender and contract programmes
• Liaising with estimating, commercial, and operational teams
• Identifying project risks and opportunities during planning stages
• Supporting bid submissions and project delivery strategy
• Monitoring programme performance and reporting updates

Requirements

• Proven experience within groundworks and civils
• Strong preconstruction planning background
• Ability to produce detailed construction programmes
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Experience using planning software such as Oracle Primavera P6 or similar is advantageous

• £40,000 – £60,000 depending on experience and level
