Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting a Senior Quality & Continuous Improvement Engineer to join a leading manufacturer in Sheffield. This role will suit someone who enjoys working with data, investigating problems, identifying trends, and using evidence to drive better decisions.

The role will support the more junior members in the quality team and the business are keen to look at individuals with a strong continuous improvement/technical background. 

What You'll Be Doing

You'll work across manufacturing, engineering, operations, suppliers, and customers to solve problems, improve processes, and support product quality.

Typical responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing manufacturing and operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Investigating quality and production issues using structured problem-solving techniques
  • Supporting new product introductions, process validation, and continuous improvement projects
  • Designing and conducting studies to understand process performance and capability
  • Applying statistical techniques to support business decisions
  • Presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders across the business
  • Supporting customer and supplier quality activities
  • Working with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, quality, and performance
  • Helping transform data into meaningful information that enables effective decision making

  • Reliability Engineer
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
  • A degree in Physics, Engineering, Biomedical Science, Mathematics, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Strong numerical and analytical capability
  • The ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly
  • Experience solving technical or operational problems
  • A structured approach to investigation and decision making
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience in any of the following would be beneficial:
  • Manufacturing or production environments
  • Statistical analysis and data modelling
  • Experimental design and hypothesis testing
  • Continuous improvement or Lean methodologies
  • Regulated industries such as medical devices, aerospace, automotive, pharmaceuticals, or advanced manufacturing
  • Quality, validation, compliance, or process engineering
