An established, boutique estate agency with a strong reputation in the local market is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Sales Negotiator to join its growing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who already knows the St Albans market, or the very close surrounding areas, and wants to join a business where they can make a genuine impact rather than just become another number in a larger corporate agency.
The business has a strong local presence, a quality client base and a reputation built around service, relationships and local knowledge. They are now looking for someone who can bring energy, credibility and experience to the team.
The Role
As Senior Sales Negotiator, you will be involved in the full sales process, from applicant registration and viewings through to offers, negotiation and sales progression.
You will be expected to build strong relationships with buyers, sellers and local contacts, while helping to generate new opportunities and maintain the agency’s reputation for a high level of service.
The ideal person will already have a good understanding of the local property market and ideally a network across St Albans or nearby areas. This will help you hit the ground running and give you a strong platform to increase your earnings.
Key Responsibilities

Registering and qualifying applicants

Arranging and carrying out property viewings

Negotiating offers between buyers and sellers

Supporting vendors throughout the sales process

Maintaining strong local relationships

Working closely with the wider team to maximise opportunities

Delivering a high standard of service from first contact through to completion
The Person
This role would suit someone who is already working as a Sales Negotiator or Senior Sales Negotiator within estate agency and is looking for a fresh challenge with a respected local business.
You will ideally have:

Previous estate agency sales experience

Strong knowledge of St Albans or the surrounding area

A good local network or understanding of the local market

Confidence dealing with buyers, sellers and applicants

Strong negotiation and communication skills

A proactive, relationship-led approach

The ability to work independently and as part of a small team

A full UK driving licence
