Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician seeking a senior role within a reputable main dealer? Our client is looking to appoint a highly skilled Senior Vehicle Technician to join their busy Nottingham dealership. The successful individual will be responsible for diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and vehicle testing, ensuring all work meets manufacturer and industry standards.

Duties of a Senior Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct diagnostics, servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Complete electronic vehicle health checks (eVHC) and provide detailed technical feedback
  • Perform pre- and post-repair inspections to ensure quality and safety
  • Maintain accurate, detailed records in line with company and manufacturer requirements
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to high standards
  • As a Senior Vehicle Technician support apprentices and junior technicians in the workshop
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programmes
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations and workshop protocols
Requirements of a Senior Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 3 IMI or City & Guilds qualified Vehicle Technician (or equivalent)
  • Proven diagnostic and fault-finding experience
  • Strong understanding of manufacturer standards and procedures
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to obtain EV certification (if not already qualified)
  • Excellent attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
  • Organised, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team
