Our client, a well-established independent automotive business, is currently recruiting for a Sales & Service Advisor to join their dynamic team. Benefits of a Service Advisor:
  • Basic salary up to £24,960 per annum
  • Bonus potential up to £560 per month, with an OTE of £31,680
  • Monday to Friday working hours, 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • No weekend work

Duties of a Service Advisor:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and via email
  • Advise customers on products, services, and dealership promotions
  • Manage bookings for workshop services and ensure efficient scheduling
  • Process service and sales transactions accurately, including invoicing and payments
  • Maintain effective administration and filing systems
  • Support workshop operations by providing updates and managing customer expectations
  • Handle cash, banking, and credit transactions professionally
  • Assist in stock management and presentation
  • Ensure the working environment remains clean, professional, and compliant with health and safety protocols
Requirements of a Service Advisor:
  • Previous experience as a Sales & Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the motor trade
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Confident in handling sales transactions and basic administrative tasks
  • Proactive, customer-focused, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Full UK driving licence is essential
  • Forklift licence is beneficial but not mandatory; training can be provided
