Signage Installer – Job Overview

We are seeking a practical, safety-focused Signage Installer to deliver high-quality installation, maintenance, and removal of signage across multiple sites. This role involves both ground-level work and working at height, ensuring all signage is compliant, clearly visible, and installed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, update (overlay), maintain, and remove signage in line with company and regulatory standards
  • Apply overlays accurately, ensuring clarity, alignment, and full visibility of critical information
  • Carry out repairs and replacements of damaged or non-compliant signage
  • Work safely at height using ladders and step ladders, following all safety procedures
  • Conduct on-site risk assessments and ensure all work is completed safely
  • Complete installation reports, checklists, and photographic evidence
  • Plan and manage workloads across multiple sites, meeting deadlines
  • Ensure all tools, materials, and equipment are fit for purpose
  • Represent the business professionally when interacting with site contacts and stakeholders

Key Requirements

Essential:

  • Hands-on experience in installation, construction, or similar field-based roles
  • Competent with hand and power tools
  • Comfortable working at height
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)

Additional Information

  • Travel and occasional overnight stays required
  • Flexible working hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Outdoor role in varying weather conditions
  • Physically demanding, including manual handling and working at height
