Site Engineer

A well-established civil engineering contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex infrastructure projects is looking to appoint a Site Engineer to support the successful delivery of projects across the UK.

As Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of civil engineering projects, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting out and levelling using GPS and Total Station equipment
• Monitoring site progress and maintaining accurate records
• Coordinating with subcontractors and site teams
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical information
• Assisting with short-term planning and programme management
• Producing progress reports and supporting project documentation
• Identifying and communicating risks, variations and engineering issues

We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

• Previous experience working as a Site Engineer within civil engineering
• Strong setting out experience using GPS and/or Total Station equipment
• A qualification in Civil Engineering (HND, Degree or equivalent)
• Good understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A full UK Driving Licence
• Flexibility to travel and work on projects throughout the UK

• Salary of £35,000 - £45,000
