SITE ENGINEER – HIGHWAYS – SLOUGH

We are currently looking for an experienced Highways Site Engineer to join an ongoing highways project in Slough, with a start date of 25th May.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for delivering key engineering elements on a highways scheme, with a strong emphasis on setting out and surveying works to programme and specification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setting out for highways works including drainage, kerbs, roads, earthworks, and associated infrastructure
  • Carrying out site surveys and maintaining accurate records
  • Working from highways drawings and specifications
  • Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and design teams
  • Ensuring works are delivered in line with quality and health & safety requirements
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Highways Site Engineer
  • Strong setting out and surveying experience.
  • Experience working on UK highways / civil engineering projects
  • CSCS card (required)

  • Location: Slough
  • Start Date: 25th May
  • Rate: £350 per day – Umbrella PAYE
  • Contract Type: Freelance / Contract
