Site Engineer

A well-established groundworks subcontractor is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Engineer to manage all the external works on a large commercial scheme in Northumberland.

The Role

• Setting out for roads, drainage, foundations, kerbing, paving, and external works
• Carrying out QA checks and producing as-built surveys
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Liaising with site management, main contractor, and operatives
• Ensuring works are carried out accurately and in line with specifications
• Maintaining site records and survey data

Experience Required:

• Proven experience working as a Site Engineer within civil engineering or groundworks
• Competent using a robotic station
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• CSCS card essential
• SMSTS/First Aid advantageous
• Strong communication and organisational skills

Remuneration:

• £325.00 to £400.00 per day (dependent on experience)
