We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a Tier 1 contractor delivering a major infrastructure project in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile civils scheme with a strong project pipeline and immediate start available.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of major earthworks and highways packages, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to programme.

• Managing and overseeing daily site engineering activities
• Supporting delivery of earthworks, drainage, kerbing, roadworks, and embankment fill operations
• Ensuring works are carried out in line with specification, programme, and HSEQ standards
• Maintaining QA documentation and site records
• Completing daily diaries and progress reporting
• Carrying out setting out and surveying duties where required
• Coordinating subcontractors and site teams
• Liaising with project management teams to ensure smooth project delivery

• Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on major civils or infrastructure projects
• Strong background in:
  • Earthworks
  • Drainage
  • Kerbing
  • Roadworks
  • Embankment fill
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification
• Experience managing QA processes and site documentation
• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Competitive Inside IR35 day rate
