Freelance Site Manager - Social Housing 

  • Project: L&Q Contract - external works: roof and door replacement
  • East London (E10 / E17)
  • £280 - £300 CIS 
  • Must have your own car

We are working with a well-known and respected social housing contractor looking to appoint a Freelance Site Manager to support delivery on the L&Q framework across East London (E10 & E17).

The Role

You will be managing external refurbishment works across scattered properties and low-rise blocks, including:

  • Roof replacements
  • Window replacements
  • General external upgrades

This is a fast-paced role overseeing multiple sites within occupied housing stock, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day site operations across multiple locations
  • Supervise subcontractors and site teams
  • Ensure health & safety compliance
  • Drive programme and quality of works
  • Liaise with residents and client teams

Requirements

  • Proven Site Manager experience in social housing refurbishment
  • Strong externals background (roofing/windows essential)
  • SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid
  • Able to manage multiple sites effectively
  • Must have own vehicle
