Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + Package

The Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity for a Site Manager to join a specialist contractor delivering projects across the defence, data centre and energy sectors.

This role offers the chance to work on a varied portfolio of projects ranging from refurbishments and fit outs through to new build schemes up to £10m in value. You’ll play a key role in managing site delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on programme and to a high standard.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for:

• Managing day-to-day site operations and subcontractors.
• Coordinating trades and project activities on site.
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely and in line with programme.
• Maintaining quality control and compliance standards.
• Delivering toolbox talks and site inductions.
• Managing site records, diaries and project documentation.
• Monitoring subcontractor performance and progress.
• Supporting procurement and material coordination.
• Liaising with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
• Managing health & safety and ensuring RAMS compliance.

About You

• Experience as a Site Manager within a contractor environment.
• Background in commercial, industrial, defence or data centre projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and sequencing.
• Good health & safety knowledge and site coordination ability.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid essential.
