Stores & Logistics Operative

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Warehouse / Stores Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operations of our stores and logistics function, ensuring goods are handled efficiently and accurately.

Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in a warehouse or stores environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support with deliveries and collections of customer goods across the UK
• Arrange and manage daily courier bookings using systems such as DHL and FedEx
• Pick and issue approved spare parts to the appropriate workshop teams
• Carry out regular Physical Inventory (PI) counts to maintain stock accuracy
• Assist with general warehouse and stores duties as required

Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn, with a positive and proactive attitude

Desirable:

• Previous experience in goods-in / booking-in or a stores / warehouse environment
• Knowledge of inventory processes, including picking, issuing, and stock counting
• Experience using courier booking systems

Nice to Have:

• A valid forklift licence (transferable certification)
