  • Exceptional attention to detail – accuracy is second nature to you

  • Previous use of an MRP/ERP system

  • Understanding of a Bill of Materials (BOM)

  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

  • Strong understanding of the importance of quality, traceability, and stock accuracy

  • Confident using digital systems and maintaining accurate records

  • Calm, methodical, and process-driven, even when working to tight deadlines

  • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for handling high-value components and materials

What You'll Be Doing as a Stores Operative

  • Accurately pick, check, and prepare production kits in line with build requirements and production schedules

  • Ensure kit contents are complete, correctly labelled, and fully compliant with work order specifications

  • Coordinate with Warehouse and Production teams to ensure kits, parts, and materials arrive on time and in full

  • Follow work instructions and processes with absolute accuracy and consistency

  • Support inventory accuracy through the MRP system, ensuring stock movements are recorded correctly

  • Conduct stock checks and assist with inventory control activities as required

  • Identify and report shortages, discrepancies, damaged materials, or potential risks immediately

  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping, organisation, and material traceability within the stores area

  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities that enhance kitting efficiency and accuracy
