We have an exciting opportunity for a Stores Person based in Peterlee for one of our clients on a Full time long term contract basis to start ASAP.
Summary of the Stores Person role
Salary: £30,000
Location: Peterlee
Type of Contract: Long term contract – immediate start
Hours: 37.5 hour working week Monday – Friday 8am-4pm
Responsibilities of the Stores Person
- Accurately receive, check, and book in deliveries ensuring all goods are correctly recorded within the internal system
- Efficiently store and organise incoming stock
- Use computer-based stock control systems
Requirements for a successful Stores Person
- Good level of PC literacy with the ability to confidently use stock systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock and inputting data
- Good organisational skills
- A valid Reach license would be advantageous (but not essential)
