We're recruiting a Stores Team Leader to join a growing medical manufacturing environment, taking ownership of day-to-day stores operations while leading a small team from the front.
This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in keeping production moving - ensuring materials, kits, and finished goods are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.
What you'll be doing
- Leading and coordinating daily Stores & Despatch activities
- Ensuring materials and stock are received, checked, labelled and booked accurately
- Preparing and issuing production kits in line with weekly plans
- Overseeing packing and dispatch of finished goods
- Managing stock levels - identifying shortages, discrepancies and risks early
- Working cross-functionally with Production, Quality, and Purchasing
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, safety, and compliance
- Supporting and developing team members - leading by example
What we're looking for
- Experience in a stores, warehouse or despatch environment
- Team leader experience (or someone ready to take that next step)
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
- Comfortable in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
- Good communication and organisation skills
- Experience with Sage 200 / MS Office
