Teaching Personnel is recruiting experienced Secondary Supply Teachers for September 2026 across Durham. If you're an established teacher looking for flexible work, better work life balance, or the freedom to choose when and where you teach, supply could be the perfect fit.

You'll work across different schools in Durham, maintaining classroom standards, and adapting to various school environments. Whether you want full time consistent work or just a few days per week, we can match you with schools that suit your availability and preferences.

What you'll be doing:

  • Delivering pre prepared lessons across your subject specialism at KS3 to KS5
  • Managing classroom behaviour in different school settings
  • Building rapport with students and staff across various settings

You need:

  • QTS 
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom presence
  • Two professional references covering the last two years
  • Enhanced DBS on Update Service (or willingness to apply)
