Job Overview

We are currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Support Workers to provide temporary cover within a care service in Wales. The role involves supporting adults with daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, and person-centred care.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are passionate about care and looking to gain experience within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality person-centred support to service users
• Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, and household duties
• Support individuals with community access and social activities
• Maintain accurate records and complete daily notes where required
• Promote safeguarding, health & safety, and wellbeing at all times
• Build positive relationships with service users and staff teams
• Follow care plans, risk assessments, and workplace policies

Requirements

• Previous experience in care/support work preferred but not essential
• Compassionate, patient, and professional approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, and weekends if required
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service preferred
• Right to work in the UK

Desirable

• Manual handling training
• Medication administration training
• PMVA/MAPA or behavioural support training
• Driving licence (if applicable)
