Teaching Assistant - Start Date: As soon as possible - Location: Stafford / Rugeley / Stone

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic, dedicated and caring Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of primary schools. Whether you are looking for part-time work, full-time opportunities, or flexible days to fit around your existing commitments, we can help find a role that suits your availability. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting pupils' learning and development within the classroom. Responsibilities may include working with individuals, small groups, or supporting the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons whilst create a positive learning environment.

We work with a range of schools, each offering unique experiences and opportunities to develop your skills within education. No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who is adaptable, proactive, and passionate about supporting children's learning.

The role may include:

  • Supporting teaching and learning across a range of year groups.
  • Working with individual pupils and small groups.
  • Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities and preparation.
  • Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence and progress.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
  • Adapting to different school settings and classroom environments.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children in an educational setting (desirable but not essential).
  • Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Has a positive, flexible and professional approach to work.
  • Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
  • Can provide professional references.
  • Is reliable, enthusiastic and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Can travel to Stafford / Stone / Rugeley and surrounding areas.

Pay £93 - £100 a day, holiday pay is included in the day rate.
