A specialist SEN school in Chester is looking for a Behaviour Mentor / SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and behavioural needs. This isn't just a classroom support role it's about building trust, creating consistency and helping young people feel safe enough to learn.

What You'll Be Doing:

* Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), SEMH, Autism and ADHD
* Working as a Behaviour Mentor, SEN Teaching Assistant and Learning Support Assistant
* Providing 1:1 support and small group interventions
* Helping pupils manage emotions and challenging behaviour
* Encouraging engagement, independence and positive routines
* Building strong relationships with students who need consistency and support
* Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams
* Supporting learning both inside and outside the classroom

What The School Is Looking For:

* Experience supporting children or adults with behavioural needs or additional needs
* A calm, patient and resilient personality
* Someone who can take initiative and think on their feet
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Behaviour Mentor, Teaching Assistant, Support Worker or Care Worker experience is desirable
* Someone who genuinely wants to make a difference to young people
