As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support learning, deliver interventions and create a positive classroom environment where every child can thrive.

Primary Teaching Assistant Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across KS1 and KS2.

• Work alongside class teachers to deliver engaging lessons.

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support.

• Assist with classroom management and pupil engagement.

• Help pupils develop confidence, independence and academic progress.

• Support children with varying learning needs.

• Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment.

Teaching Assistant Requirements

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school.

• Experience supporting pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Positive, proactive and highly motivated approach.

• Strong classroom support skills.

• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
