1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join a mainstream primary school in Neasden. The roles will involve working 1:1 with children with SEN, providing tailored support to enhance their learning and social skills. Applicants should possess a genuine interest in special education, excellent communication skills, and experience working with children or individuals with SEN.

About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistants to join the school from September, supported pupils with SEN. with ASD. There will be some flexbility regarding year groups, and successful applicants will be matched to year groups/pupils based on their preferences. You will work closely with the child, supporting their learning, development, and integration within the classroom. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing individualized support to the child during lessons and play
• Assisting with communication, social, and emotional development
• Supporting the child’s independence and confidence
• Collaborating with teachers and therapists to implement learning plans
• Monitoring progress and adapting support as needed
