Key Stage 2 Teacher- Harlow full time - 5 days a week 

SENCare Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Key Stage 2 Teacher to work for a Specialist day school which is based in Harlow

About us: 

SENCare Recruitment is a niche recruitment agency that provides Special Educational Needs (SEN) professionals for SEN schools, mainstream schools, residential care homes and 1-1 home support through local authorities, across the UK.  We offer short/long term placements on a temporary and permanent basis for specialist SEN teachers, teaching assistants, support workers, social workers, VI/HI practitioners and mid-day meal supervisors

Job title: Key Stage 2 Teacher

Start: ASAP

Hours: 8:00am-3:30pm - Mon Fri

The school caters for children aged aged 7 to 14 with social, emotional and mental health as their primary identified need.

The ideal candidate will - 

·        Deliver tailored lessons in line with the nurture curriculum, adapting teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students

·        Develop and implement personalised learning plans, with a strong focus on emotional wellbeing and academic progress

·        Work closely with the pastoral team, SENCo, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to each pupil’s education and care

·        Create a supportive, calm, and structured environment where pupils feel safe, valued, and able to express themselves

Main duties -

·        Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

·        Experience working with students with SEMH needs, preferably within a nurture setting or similar

·        Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning
