Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturer based in South Yorkshire to recruit a Technical Quality Director.
This senior role will suit someone who is confident setting direction, guiding teams and ensuring that the business operates with clarity and control.
The Technical Quality Director Role
- Set the QSHE strategy and ensure it aligns with wider organisational aims
- Maintain oversight of compliance across all relevant regulations and standards
- Lead and develop the diverse team, building capability and consistency
- Maintain Quality Management Systems in line with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards
- Drive improvement activity through structured investigation and corrective actions
- Oversee health and safety policies and ensure alignment with ISO 45001 and related expectations
- Represent the organisation during audits, assessments and external reviews
- Ensure incidents are investigated and followed up effectively
The Person
- Experience in technical or quality roles
- Experience of working in similar manufactruing environments
- Strong understanding of Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems and current legislation
- NEBOSH diploma
- Confident leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders
- Skilled in structured problem solving and continuous improvement
- High attention to detail and commitment to compliance
