We’re currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder to join a busy engineering business based in Ferndown.
The role
As a TIG Welder, you’ll be carrying out high-quality TIG welding work to engineering drawings and production specifications. The role will involve working with a variety of materials and components depending on workload and customer requirements.
You’ll be expected to maintain strong quality standards while working efficiently as part of the wider manufacturing team.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- TIG welding to engineering drawings and specifications
- Producing high-quality welds to required standards
- Working with fabricated and engineered components
- Carrying out self-inspection of completed work
- Supporting wider production and manufacturing activities where required
- Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
- Previous experience working as a TIG Welder
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Reliable and able to work effectively within a team
- Fabrication experience
- Experience working with stainless steel, aluminium, or thin gauge materials
- Background within precision engineering or manufacturing
- £17ph to £20ph depending on experience
