Claims & Office Administrator (temporary to permanent)
Aylsham, Norfolk | On-site (free parking)
35 hours per week | Flexible working considered (including part-time, compressed hours, and some remote working for the right candidate)
Rota-based role (includes evenings and 2 Saturdays per month on a rota basis)
My wonderful client are based in the quaint town of Aylsham, Norfolk.
This is a temp role initially to start asap and for the right person could lead to a permanent role!
Salary will depend on skills/experience
About the Role
My client are looking for a Claims & Office Administrator to join their friendly, supportive team.
You’ll handle insurance claims mainly for jewellery warranty policies, speaking with retail partners, assessing claims, and authorising valid repairs or replacements.
Full training is provided – no previous insurance experience required.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Handling and administering insurance claims
- Taking inbound calls from retail stores
- Gathering claim details and assessing policy coverage
- Authorising valid claims and managing outcomes
- Updating systems, spreadsheets, and correspondence
- Supporting other insurance products when required
- General office administration and team support

- Confident and professional on the phone
- Calm, organised, and reliable
- Good attention to detail
- Able to multitask in a busy environment
- Strong team player
- Good IT skills (training provided)
No insurance experience required.
