Trainee Metal Worker

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Trainee Metal Worker to join our growing team based in Braintree. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual with experience in bespoke fabrication, working across a variety of materials including metal, wood, and plastics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate bespoke cabinets to precise specifications
• Work confidently with metal, wood, and plastic materials
• Interpret and work from technical drawings and CAD designs
• Operate manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently
• Ensure high standards of quality and finish in all products
• Collaborate with the wider team to meet production deadlines

Work Environment:
This is a workshop-based role, manufacturing specialist products primarily for the pharmacy and medical sectors. Attention to detail and quality is essential due to the nature of the end use.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in cabinet making or similar fabrication role
• Ability to use CAD design packages (preferred but not essential)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and machinery
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
