Pay: £12.71 per hour

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee PCB Assembly Operative to join our production team in Slough. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in electronics manufacturing, with training provided.

 Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly of printed circuit boards (PCBs) in line with production schedules
• Follow technical drawings, work instructions, and assembly guidelines
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and company specifications
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Adhere to health & safety procedures at all times

Day-to-Day Duties

• Performing basic PCB assembly tasks such as component placement and soldering
• Using hand tools and basic assembly equipment
• Inspecting components and finished boards for defects or quality issues
• Packing and labelling completed products
• Reporting any faults, issues, or shortages to the supervisor
• Supporting senior technicians with more complex assembly tasks as you develop

• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Good timekeeping and reliability
