Work Strata Group are currently recruiting on behalf of a logistics client for a Transport Office Administrator to join a busy and growing transport operation located in SR8.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment and is looking to build a long-term career within transport and logistics.
The Role:
You will provide essential administrative support to the transport office team, helping to ensure the smooth running of daily transport operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the transport office team
- Act as a first point of contact for telephone and email enquiries
- Create and process jobs within the planning system
- Maintain accurate records and transport documentation
- Support compliance and reporting tasks
- Assist with driver paperwork and daily transport administration
- Liaise with transport planners and managers
- General office duties including filing and data entry
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous administration experience within transport, logistics or warehousing preferred
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Good IT and data entry skills
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Confident working with spreadsheets and office systems
- Positive attitude with strong attention to detail
