About the role
We are seeking an outstanding Tutor to join our experienced and collaborative Science team to teach Chemistry from August or September 2026. You will become part of a well-established team of subject specialists who work closely together and with the wider Science department to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.

Lessons are delivered in modern, well-equipped laboratories, with the support of dedicated specialist Chemistry technicians, enabling you to focus on delivering engaging and effective teaching.

We are committed to supporting your professional development and offer excellent opportunities to grow your career. You will have the chance to teach across a broad and successful range of Chemistry programmes. Our provision is primarily for students aged 16-19, alongside courses for adult learners and apprentices.

Our students are enthusiastic, well-motivated, and keen to succeed, creating a positive and rewarding teaching environment. Courses include A Level, Access to Higher Education, HNC, Level 3 vocational programmes, and apprenticeships.

This is a full-time role, but we may be willing to consider part-time or flexible working arrangements to meet individual needs.

About you
We are looking for an enthusiastic and student-centred teacher with a genuine passion for Chemistry and the ability to inspire learners to achieve their full potential.

This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and those at the start of their teaching career. You will hold a degree in Chemistry or a closely related subject, along with a recognised teaching qualification.

We also welcome applications from individuals without a formal teaching qualification who can demonstrate relevant experience gained in industry or higher education. For the right candidate, we offer full support to gain a teaching qualification while developing classroom experience.
