Ethos Education is recruiting a Chemistry Teacher for a secondary school in North London. This is a permanent role starting in September 2026 and would suit an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to develop within a strong Science department.

The school has a growing sixth form, strong Science outcomes and a collaborative approach to teaching. Resources are shared, planning is supported and there is the opportunity to teach A Level Chemistry for the right candidate.

The Role

• Teaching Chemistry across KS3 and KS4
• Opportunity to teach A Level Chemistry
• Preparing students for GCSE and A Level examinations
• Delivering practical and theory based lessons
• Working within a supportive Science department

The Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Degree in Chemistry or a related subject
• Strong subject knowledge
• Confident teaching KS3 and KS4
• ECTs and experienced teachers welcome
